At CDSafe Consulting, our mission is to help Queensland businesses navigate the medicines, poisons, food and tobacco regulations that govern their industry — with the same rigour, and the same eye for detail, that a regulator would bring.

We know what regulators look for, because we were one. Built on more than 20 years of frontline regulatory experience with Queensland Health, CDSafe exists to close the gap between complex legislation and everyday compliance, giving healthcare providers, aged care facilities, schools and cosmetic clinics the confidence that their systems will hold up under scrutiny — not just on paper, but in practice.

We believe compliance shouldn't be reactive. Our mission is to get ahead of risk before it becomes a breach, a closure, or a headline — through honest advice, practical systems, and a regulator's-eye view that most consultants simply don't have.

Sandra Peroni is the owner and principal consultant at CDSafe Consulting, bringing more than 20 years of regulatory experience in public health, medicines and poisons.

Sandra spent her career as an Environmental Health Officer with Queensland Health in various Public Health Units, and undertook specialised roles within the Queensland Health Medicines Approvals Regulation Unit, Monitored Medicines Compliance Unit and the Medicines Legislative Policy Unit as Principal Policy Officer and Delegate for prescribing approvals.

Her investigative work spans some of Queensland's significant public health incidents — food outbreaks, tobacco compliance and regulatory response to the novel public health incidents to name a few.

Sandra brings a proven ability to problem-solve in novel, high-risk situations — she has an ability to perform under pressure and think outside the box to recommend practical measures for implementation. During her tenure, Sandra was a regular presenter at industry training opportunities and State, National and International Conferences sharing her experiences and learnings.

Sandra founded CDSafe Consulting to give Queensland businesses independent, confidential advice from someone who has sat on the other side of the desk as the regulator.
